Cookies and browser storage
Last updated: 9 October 2026
The simulator works without optional analytics or support chat. We only load Google Analytics and Zendesk after you allow the relevant option. Accept all enables both; Reject all disables both. Settings lets you choose each separately.
Necessary storage
A server session cookie (normally PHPSESSID) may maintain question selection for your browsing session. The local storage entry mvip-consent-v1 remembers your analytics and chat choices for 180 days. If local storage is unavailable, your choice may only last for the current page or session. Neither is used for advertising.
Analytics, if allowed
Google Analytics uses first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to distinguish visitors and sessions. Our tag sets a maximum cookie lifetime of 180 days without extending it on each visit; browser restrictions may shorten this. We do not enable Google advertising consent or Google signals in this tag. See Google's cookie information.
Support chat, if allowed
Zendesk uses cookies and browser storage to operate chat, maintain conversations and remember widget state. Names and lifetimes depend on the widget configuration. See Zendesk's In-Product Cookie Policy. We disable the widget's automatic Google Analytics integration.
Change your choices
Use Cookie settings in the footer at any time. Turning off a service already running reloads the page to stop it, ending any current practice attempt. We remove accessible Google Analytics cookies when analytics consent is withdrawn. Previously stored Zendesk cookies and browser storage may remain until they expire or you delete them in your browser, but the widget will no longer load. Withdrawing consent does not delete messages already sent.
You can delete cookies and site storage through your browser settings. Deleting our consent entry means we ask again. Read our Privacy page for information about personal data and your rights.
